Work Capacity Evaluation (WCE)

An assessment of an individual's functional capabilities over multiple days which reflects the demands of a typical work week. A WCE includes extensive work simulations along with the comprehensive testing procedures of an FCE.

WCE generates information regarding:

• sustained activity tolerance
• consistency of effort
• role as worker, such as productivity, attendance, personal relationships, safety
• feasibility for employment, i.e., the client's readiness to resume employment
• compliance and general worker attitude
